Bucharest Wind Ensemble

Founded in 2015, the Bucharest Wind Ensemble has been constantly pursuing the diversification of instrumental combinations, to encompass, thereby, the main chamber music genres for wind instruments. The ensemble has collaborated with important organizations, including: Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra, Chișinău Philharmonic Orchestra, Pitești Philharmonic Orchestra, Brăila “Lyra” Philharmonic, Focşani Chamber Orchestra, Florescu-Fernandez & Friends Association, Gminne Centrum Kultury w Nowogrodźcu (Poland), Academia Classica Foundation (Bulgaria), “Tinerimea Română” National Center for Art, Union of Composers and Musicologists from Romania, “George Enescu” National Museum in Bucharest, Casa Artelor ”Dinu Lipatti” Cultural Center, Bucharest Cultural Center – ARCUB, “Classic is Fantastic” Foundation, Forum Arte Foundation, ȚinteaFest Association”, Ion Creangă” Theater, Balassi Institut Bucharest, A.C.C.U.M.M. Foundation. Bucharest Wind Ensemble has appeared at festivals such as: Festiwal “Muzyka u J. I. Schnabla” (Poland), Balchik Classic Days Music Festival (Bulgaria), Musica Barcensis Festival, Bucharest Music Film Festival, I Love Lipatti Festival, “Rinascimento Musici” Festival, “Țintea muzicală” International Music Festival, “Memories from the childhood” Festival, “Mozart Festival” – Focșani and Mozartissimo Festival – Bucharest. The ensemble aims to bring the chamber music to audiences that are prevented from attending regular concert venues.
